The Technical Advisory Committees are composed of industry and government representatives who offer their time to advise BIS on the impact of export control policies. Currently BIS has committees involved in: materials, materials processing, transportation and related equipment, information systems, sensors and instrumentation, regulations and procedures and emerging technologies.
