Introduction to these FAQs

The U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) have implemented various Russia sector sanctions and Ukraine-related sanctions. BIS advises exporters, reexporters, transferors, and those providing certain services in Russia to review the OFAC requirements in this area.
